Best Brands has always taken great pride in providing the best of goods and services to the baking industry.
Beginning in 1971 as a distributor of quality ingredients and supplies, our mission has been to provide the best possible products and services for all segments of the baking industry. In 1975, unable to source the caliber of products that would meet our standards, Best Brands began manufacturing a quality line of fillings, icings, mixes and bases. Frozen doughs and batters were added in 1991. Later, additional lamination and auto-bake lines were installed to better meet the needs of our customers.
In 2005, Best Brands acquired Multifoods Bakery Products, adding their rich 100+ year heritage and broad product offering. Multifoods’ technical expertise, along with their widely-popular muffins and baking mixes, were the perfect complement to the Best Brands catalog.
Telco Food Products was acquired in late 2006, adding retail-ready brownies, bundt and loaf cakes with unique packaging concepts, to round out our bakery product offerings.
Best Brands now has 7 production facilities and 3 distribution sites across the United States, and is centrally headquartered in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
