How To Choose The Best Autotune Evo

What Is The Purpose Of An Autotune Evo?

Autotune is a software application which enables users to correct the pitch of audio files by adjusting the frequency of individual notes within the file. The result is typically a more pleasing sound with greater clarity.

How Does It Work?

The process works by using algorithms to identify the key signature of each note in a song. Once identified, the algorithm calculates the target pitch based upon the user’s input. Then, the program adjusts the pitch of the selected track so that the target pitch matches the calculated value. In other words, the program automatically “corrects” the pitch of the audio file.

Benefits of Using Auto Tune Software

Auto tuning has become increasingly popular because it offers several benefits. For example, it makes it easier to play songs written in keys outside of the standard major scale. Also, it improves the quality of recorded vocals. Finally, it can be used to create professional sounding recordings.

Is There Any Drawbacks To Using Auto Tune Software?

There are no drawbacks to using auto tune software. However, there are certain situations where it might not produce optimal results. If the audio recording contains multiple instruments playing together, auto tune software cannot effectively separate the tracks into distinct parts. Therefore, it might not always provide the best possible outcome.

Are There Other Ways To Correct Pitch Problems?

Yes! There are two main ways to fix pitch problems. First, you could manually adjust the pitch of each note in the song. Second, you could record the song again using a higher quality microphone. Both methods require additional effort and skill.

The Importance of Purchasing a Quality Autotune Evo

Autotuning software has become increasingly popular with producers who wish to create music using electronic instruments. However, there are many different types of autotune plugins available. Some are free while others require payment. There are pros and cons associated with each type of autotune tool. In order to ensure that you purchase the best autotune product possible, here are three important factors to consider before making your decision.

Price is always going to be a factor when choosing between two products. If you're willing to pay more money, you might be able to obtain a higher-quality autotune tool. While these prices are certainly reasonable, they aren't necessarily affordable for everyone. Many musicians choose to invest in cheaper options because they simply cannot afford the luxury of spending thousands of dollars on autotune software.

Another thing to take into consideration when selecting an autotune tool is its functionality. Simple autotunes are generally easier to use and understand. Complex ones, however, allow users to fine-tune certain aspects of their songs. For instance, if you're trying to achieve a specific sound effect, you could adjust the settings of the autotune tool accordingly.

How To Choose Between Different Types Of AutoTune Tools

There are several different types of autotune tools available today. Each one comes with unique benefits and drawbacks.

Auto Tune Plugins - These plugins are typically found within DAW programs like FL Studio, Ableton Live, ProTools, etc. They are relatively inexpensive and provide most of the functions needed to produce professional sounding tracks.

Native Instruments' VSTi - Native Instruments is known for creating top-notch audio production software. Their flagship instrument is called NI Massive which includes an autotune function. Although it doesn't include all of the same features as other autotune tools, it does provide a decent amount of functionality.

Features To Look For When Buying An Autotune Evo

Autotuning software has become more popular with producers who wish to create music using electronic instruments. The idea behind these programs is to take a song written by someone else and turn it into something completely different. In order to achieve this, the program needs to be able to detect certain musical elements within the track and adjust those accordingly. There are many features available in most autotune plugins, so we've put together a list of the ones you should definitely check before purchasing.

Pitch Correction

The ability to correct pitches is probably the most important aspect of autotune. If you're producing hip-hop beats, chances are you'll need to fix the pitch of each individual instrument in the mix. Most modern autotune plugins contain a built-in pitch correction tool which makes fixing the pitch easy. However, there are other ways to achieve the same result. One way is to use a virtual synthesizer app such as FL Studio or Reason. Another option is to use a free online service called Pitch Perfect. Both of these options allow you to change the pitch of audio files while retaining its original tempo.

Tone Shaping

Another useful feature found in autotune plugins is tone shaping. Tone shaping lets you manipulate the sound of a particular instrument to give it a unique character. Some examples include adding reverb effects, changing the timbre of a synth, or making a drum sound punchier. Many plugins let you apply these effects individually, however, others let you set up multiple presets that automatically apply the desired effect whenever you play the file. Either way, tonal manipulation is essential if you plan on creating songs that stand apart from the crowd.

EQ & Compression

EQ adjusts the frequency response of a signal, allowing you to boost specific frequencies and cut others. Compressors reduce the dynamic range of a signal, giving it a tighter, louder sound. While both tools are very powerful, they aren't always necessary. Sometimes, you only need to tweak a few frequencies to achieve a perfect balance between loudness and clarity. That said, EQ and compression are still extremely helpful tools to have around. Even though they might seem unnecessary, they can really improve the overall quality of your tracks.

One of the best aspects of autotune plugins is that they can automate almost anything. Automating tasks saves you time and money because you no longer need to manually perform repetitive actions. With automation, you can record vocals, edit samples, or produce entire songs without ever leaving the comfort of your studio. All you need to do is press a button and the process begins. Once automated, you can simply sit back and relax while the software does the rest.

Plugins vs VST Plugins

Standalone apps require users to download and install the application themselves. VST plugins are included in the host application and run directly inside the DAW.

Different Types of AutoTune Evo

Auto-tune has been around since the early 2000’s with its inception being created by Dr. Robert Oakes. He was working on creating software that could automatically correct pitch problems within songs. The idea behind his creation was to create a program that could identify where there was a problem and fix it. In order to accomplish this task he needed to be able to hear the song before hand so he could determine which part of the song was incorrect. To achieve this goal he developed a piece of software called “Pitch Corrector”. Pitch Corrector allowed him to listen to a song while playing it back and detect the errors. Once detected these errors were corrected using different methods depending on the type of error. For example, if the note was too high, the software would lower the note down. If the note was too low, the software would raise the note up. After many years of research and development, Dr. Oakes released his final product known as “Auto Tune”. With Auto Tune, users no longer had to manually adjust pitches because the software did everything for them. Nowadays, Auto Tune is still very popular among musicians due to its ability to quickly edit music. However, Auto Tune does more than simply correct pitch issues; it can also change key signatures, transpose notes, and harmonize chords. There are two versions of Auto Tune available today, Auto Tune Pro and Auto Tune Ultimate. Both programs allow users to perform multiple functions including editing vocals, drums, bass guitar, guitars, piano, strings, horns, flutes, trumpets, and other instruments.

How Does Auto Tune Work?

The way Auto Tune works is simple enough. First, the user must download the application onto their computer. Then, once selected, the user presses play and listens to the audio files. While listening to the audio files, the user can press pause anytime to stop playback. At this point, the user can begin making adjustments to the audio files. Adjustments include changing the tempo, adjusting the volume, adding effects, and altering the pitch. Depending on the version of Auto Tune, the user can choose between three different modes. These modes include Normal mode, Advanced mode, and Expert mode. Each mode offers unique features allowing the user to customize the experience according to their preferences.

Features of Auto Tune

Below we will go into detail regarding each of the above mentioned modes. We will start with Normal Mode. Let us take a closer look at each of these options.

Volume - Allows the user to increase or decrease the overall volume level of the audio file.
